Fitting to be listening to French band Phoenix while I work on my Honors College Study Abroad Grant for France app. Their new album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, is completely flawless— highly recommended. This song is called 1901. (Using Vimeo instead of Youtube because I couldn’t embed the actual music video, and fortunately, they sound just as good live.)

Cooper Young Festival 4 Mile Race! →
I just found out my cousin Kimberly has leave next weekend (she just got back home from Iraq) and will be going to Memphis. Since I have the sweetest class schedule ever (no Friday classes and no class Monday until 2:30), I’m going home for the weekend to see Kim and then we’re both, along with my Dad, running in the Cooper Young Festival run! It’s going to be the best t-shirt...
Last night was a late night, so this morning I’m having a lovely lazy morning of reading In Style in my bed (homework can wait, right, I have a 3 day weekend!). All to say, Justin Timberlake, my hometown hero and celebrity crush was featured in the magazine several times, from his new tequila that’s name is a shout out to the Memphis are code, 901 Silver (which begs the question, why...

Good advice from Tim Gunn, I just finished all my back to school clothes shopping and I’m super happy with my wardrobe for next semester. I went through my closet and threw away/donated/sold about 60% of it, clothes that didn’t fit, too trendy, where did that even come from, etc. It was so cathartic. I kept and rediscovered only my clothes that fit well and looked good, then made a...

Walton College had me write a blurb about my trip to Belize for their blog. Rereading it seems a little kitchy, and I wish I would have chosen a different picture, but whatev, it’s still exciting!

My roomie's engaged!
She’s actually my ex-roomie, I’m going to be in France this Spring and I didn’t want to leave her stranded, so I’ll be rooming with my friend Julie who’s going to Argentina in the Spring. I actually didn’t know Caitlin (my newly engaged friend) before college, but living with a girl for two years on campus and sharing a room the size of a postage stamp with...
Tomorrow
I will start studying for the LSAT. An hour a day, at least 5 days a week. Accountability!
Sorry for the random posts...
I’m in Belize right now, so I’ve been updating my other tumblr:
laurentravels.tumblr.com
and I get the two confused a lot. Should pick this one up again mid-June when I have more time.
