Yesterday I did my first triathlon!  It was actually a relay, my Dad (who is a legit triathlete and has done several half iron man’s) swam, one of his biking friends biked, and I did a 2 mile trail run.  Our relay team finished in second with a time of 1:01:09, and all the proceeds of the race went to benefit a really great charity, Teen Challenge. This picture is me just after I finished the race.  The relay teams tend to be pretty stacked (our biker was super fast), and since I ran I got to go last and finish up the race with all the legit super fast triathletes that didn’t do a relay.  I don’t think ever doing a full triathlon is a goal of mine, but since training for this race I’ve fallen in love with trail running, and I’m planning on doing some more in Fayetteville. Also, leaving for Fayetteville on Thursday, so excited! Zoom
